How
to use
Antiox-SP |
: |
Antiox-SP
is recommended at 1-2 phr. It can be used as is, or also as an emulsion. Different
recipes are available
to make emulsions; one is given below.
Portion A :
50 parts SP
3.0 parts Oleic Acid
0.5 parts TEA mix and heat to 60-70 C
Portion
B:
50 parts Water
0.5 parts KOH mix and heat to 60-70 C
Add Portion B to A slowly and under strong stirring until a
smooth white emulsion is formed. Maintain temperature at 60-70C
|
|
Uses |
: |
Unlike any other
commercially available product in the same
category, Antiox-SP is a virtually colourless chemical, and non-staining. This makes Antiox-SP an excellent choice of
antioxidant, when required for the manufacture of brightlycoloured or transparent rubber articles where the colour of the
end-product is an important consideration. |
